TOP SAFETY Pick by IIHS is Awarded to the Chrysler Pacifica

The IIHS has awarded the 2023 Chrysler Pacifica TOP SAFETY PICK in the latest IIHS testing. The Pacifica scored the highest rating achievable in key IIHS crash tests that mimic real-life situations. The Pacifica features a long list of standard safety equipment, with over 97 features. The North American market is large, but only one minivan offers available AWD and second-row Stow ‘n Go seating. Earning TOP SAFETY PICK is just one of the few awards the Pacifica has received in the 2023 year, the van has been recognized by many.
The Pacifica offers an aerodynamic exterior structure that offers multiple available steel upgrades including ultra-high strength and advanced high-strength to feel safer and protected in case of any impact. The Pacifica was rated “Good” the highest possible rating in this the IIHS test which simulates three of the most common types of real-world crashes. Starting with the Driver-side small overlap frontal impact, Passenger-side small overlap frontal impact, and Moderate overlap frontal impact.
The Chrysler Pacifica Pedestrian Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) is one of the standard features on 2023 Pacifica, and was a major help in qualifying for an IIHS TOP SAFETY PICK rating. In 2020 the IIHS revised their rating system to emphasize on AEB and headlight function. The Chrysler Pacifica features standard LED headlamps, daytime running lamps, fog lamps, and taillamps. The LED technology provides a brighter balanced beam of light to minimize glare for oncoming traffic at night. The 2024 Chrysler doesn’t change much, a few newly added exterior colors.
