The opening of reservations for the world’s first Jeep battery-electric vehicle (BEV), the brand-new, all-electric 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition have started. Jeep Brand CEO Antonio Filosa and Stellantis leadership kicked off the celebrations with the Jeep® moniker taking over the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). In New York City, the Jeep Wagoneer S was officially introduced to the public. This September, dealerships in the United States and Canada will start selling it. Customers who want to be the first behind the wheel may take advantage of a planned range of over 300 miles, lightning-fast acceleration from 0 to 60 mph in only 3.4 seconds, and 617 lb.-ft of instant torque by making a reservation now.
Head of Jeep brand North America and senior vice president Bill Peffer said, “We want our customers to have an easy time reserving one of the first 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Editions.” Because there is only one trim configuration, the Launch Edition, customers only need to select their exterior color, select their local dealer, and complete their reservation.
The Jeep brand is promoting its first global BEV from New York City to top EV markets across the country through over 170 out-of-home displays, including more than 3,500 square feet of signage on the NYSE, a network takeover of Volta charging stations with messages across 2,000+ screens nationwide, and digital wall and kiosk signage throughout Penn Station. Customers can also reserve the new 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition, examine freshly released images, and get more details by visiting Jeep.com and paying with a refundable $100 deposit using certain mobile payment providers. Jeep dealers have also invested in infrastructure renovations, BEV product-specific training, the installation of charging stations, service bays, lifts, and EV repair equipment in order to prepare for the launch of the new Jeep Wagoneer S. The 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition is eligible for the Inflation Reduction Act Retail and Lease EV credits and has a starting U.S. MSRP of $71,995 (with a $1,795 destination fee). It will be available in EV-certified Jeep brand dealerships starting this fall.
