Jeep’s Tuscadero Exterior Paint Color is Back by Popular Demand

The Jeep brand is bringing back Tuscadero to celebrate 4×4 Day 2024. Back by popular demand, the exterior paint color, an audacious, deep and intense chromatic magenta, is making its highly anticipated return as an option on the iconic 2024 Jeep Wrangler. Along with Gobi, Gecko, Chief, and Nacho, there is a long range of vibrant, limited-edition colors like Tuscadero that enhance the appeal and customization of Jeep Wrangler and other Jeep brand models. Nine striking exterior colors including Tuscadero, Anvil (new for 2024), Earl, Firecracker Red, Granite Crystal, Silver Zynith, Hydro Blue, Bright White, and black are now offered for the 2024 Jeep Wrangler.
“Some 30,000 customers placed an order for Tuscadero when it first debuted in 2021,” said Bill Peffer, senior vice president and head of Jeep brand – North America. “We’re always looking to deliver what our customers tell us they want, so we’re ‘tickled pink’ to bring back the highly sought-after Tuscadero paint shade on Jeep Wrangler to mark 4×4 Day 2024.”
Tuscadero is now available for purchase on the 2024 Jeep Wrangler in the following trim levels: Sport, Sport S, Willys, Sahara, Rubicon, Rubicon X, and Rubicon 392. The MSRP in the United States is $895. Orders for the Tuscadero on Jeep Wrangler can be placed through July 2024, with production scheduled to continue through the model year. Tuscadero’s original hardtop options will be black, body-color, or black soft top. In late Q2 2024, the Sky One-Touch powertop in Tuscadero will be accessible.
With over eight decades of 4×4 engineering knowledge, the world’s most competent and recognizable car, the Jeep Wrangler, boasts unparalleled off-road prowess. The Jeep Wrangler, which debuted in the 2024 model year, comes with an 8,000-pound Warn winch installed at the factory, a 5,000-pound tow capacity, and an optional full-float Dana rear axle. The inside of the 2024 Wrangler is equipped with standard side curtain airbags in the first and second rows, a 12.3-inch Uconnect 5 touchscreen radio, and optional 12-way power adjustable front seats.
Options for the powertrain include a 6.4-liter V-8, a 2.0-liter turbocharged inline four-cylinder engine, a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6, and the plug-in hybrid 4xe, which achieves 49 miles per gallon equivalent (MPGe) and 21 miles of all-electric range using a 2.0-liter turbocharged gas engine, two electric motors, and a high-voltage battery pack. Still available as a body-on-frame vehicle, Wrangler features solid axles, electronic locks, front and rear five-link suspension, and is one of the few midsize SUVs with a six-speed manual transmission in addition to an eight-speed automatic.
