As the first all-electric car from the Dodge brand and the next generation of American muscle, the all-new Dodge Charger Daytona is unquestionably a mean and environmentally friendly machine. Green Car Journal’s 2025 Performance Green Car of the Year is the new Charger, which is headed by the 670-horsepower Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack, the fastest and most potent muscle car in the world.

The Dodge Charger Daytona Scat Pack can accelerate to 60 mph in 3.3 seconds and complete a quarter-mile run in 11.5 seconds thanks to its 627 lb.-ft. of torque. The Charger Daytona R/T variant generates 496 horsepower and 404 lb.-ft. of torque. With its standard all-wheel drive, mechanical limited slip differential, and world-first patent-pending Fratzonic Chambered Exhaust system—which shatter stereotypes of a typical battery-electric vehicle with its signature rumble and tactile sound wave output—the Charger Daytona boasts an all-electric, 400-volt dual motor system that delivers muscle car performance.

The new Charger Daytona delivers more horsepower than the outgoing models, wrapped in iconic exterior and interior design, and with a sound that is unlike anything you’ve ever heard from a battery-electric vehicle. The all-new Dodge Charger represents the Dodge brand’s muscle car of the future and the brand’s first multi-energy muscle car lineup, with electric and gasoline options for customers.”
The Charger Daytona R/T and Scat Pack are the first all-electric cars from the Dodge brand, and when leased, they are also eligible for a $7,500 federal tax credit. All Charger Daytona models come with the option of a Level 2 charging station for your home or $600 in charge credits via Free2move Charge, a 360-degree ecosystem that Stellantis introduced in 2023 that offers energy management and charging in a fluid manner to meet all of its customers’ demands for electric vehicles. With a Level 3 DC CCS fast charger, both cars can be charged from 20% to 80% charge state in just over 27 minutes. Production of the four-door Daytona Scat Pack and R/T versions will start in the first half of 2025 and be exclusively electric.
The gas-powered two-door Dodge Charger SIXPACK H.O. and four-door Charger SIXPACK S.O. models are expected to go into production in the second half of 2025, and the two-door Charger Daytona versions are a part of the Charger’s multi-energy portfolio. The two-door coupe Charger Daytona R/T and Charger Daytona Scat Pack versions are now accepting First Call orders. These models come with special First Call packages that include a welcome kit, a two-day performance driving experience at Radford Racing School, and a VIP concierge service for customers who take delivery of a Dodge Charger Daytona sold order placed by October 31, 2024. The Charger Daytona Scat Pack and two-door R/T variants will start showing up at showrooms in the fourth quarter.
