The Southern Dodge-Chrysler-Jeep-Ram's Spirit of Liberty Jeep is now being wrapped. This is a replica of the Jeep Wrangler that will be driving across the country as part of The Crossing of America program. We will have these two jeeps out and about around town and will also be displaying these at the Southern Dodge store to raise awareness. Stop by any time to look at or take pictures of the two wrapped Jeeps!
Boulevard Screen and Sign  is doing the wrapping and is a Military owned and operated business.

On April 27, Rudy (from Survivor) came by our Southern Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram dealership to lend his support to the Crossing Of America campaign. He also checked out our wrapped Jeep Wrangler! Here's a little more on Rudy's history with the US Military:

"Boesch served in the U.S. military as a Navy Seal team leader, completing over 45 years continuous active duty. From 1968-1970, Boesch completed two combat deployments to Vietnam. Boesch earned the Bronze Star for heroic action during more than 45 combat operations. In 1967, Boesch was promoted to the rank of Master Chief Petty Officer. During and after his service in Vietnam, Boesch was designated the "Chief SEAL" (a.k.a "Bullfrog"), and set physical and operational standards at SEAL Team TWO. Boesch was awarded the Defense Superior Service Medal as Command Master Chief Petty Officer of the United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM). Boesch was honorably discharged from the Navy on August 1, 1990." - Wikipedia.org

Shag Auto and Southern Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram would like to thank Rudy for supporting the Crossing of America campaign and for his many years of service to our country! He will also be lending his efforts to fund raising when he drives the Crossing of America Jeep Wrangler from our Southern Dodge dealership to Richmond, VA!

This is Mike Day, another local Seal who is helping us out with fund-raising for The Crossing of America campaign.  On May 3rd, Mike was at the Spirit Of Liberty Foundation in San Diego doing television interviews and discussing Crossing of America as well as the recent activity with Osama Bin Laden. Mike will be driving our replica of the Spirit of Liberty Jeep everywhere he goes in Hampton Roads! Learn a little more about Mike Day by reading his bio:
